Lana is Kona Crush Soccer Academy's secretary and has been on the board for 6 years!​ Read below to find out more about Lana and why she loves being involved with KCSA.

What made you want to get involved with the board?
I was honored when asked to be a part of the KCSA Board. It has been a pleasure working alongside leaders in our community to better the lives of children. Sports have always been a huge part of my life, I feel grateful to be able to help any way I can.

What do you enjoy most about your role?

I really enjoy the sense of community and teamwork that comes with being on the KCSA board. While each member brings different skills and perspectives, we all share a common goal of supporting our local soccer community.

What advice do you have for others who want to get involved with the club?

Volunteer your time. Even if you can't commit to a leadership role, there are always opportunities to help out. We have committees for fundraising, sponsorships, field maintenance and a few others. Please reach out if you would like to help with any of these areas.

What is your fondest memory from your time with the club so far?

My favorite memories in the club would be the end of year parties. This is such a great time for everyone to get together and celebrate. It is also a time for us to thank the coaches and volunteers for their time and dedication to the club, players and families.
