Isaiah Easley 03B, F/CM - attended 2 most recent US National Team Training Camps in Seattle, WA. In the Seattle Sounders 03B Training Pool. Sounders will select its first ever 03B DA team soon.

99B, F - signed contract with Chievo Verona youth academy team in Italy. Travis will leave for Italy to live and play with their youth academy program in an on campus home school program that trains players with their youth Academy teams. They have an A team and a B team. He will start in with the B team and look to work his way up to the A squad. Laukoa Santos 99B, MF - scholarship, to attend San Diego State University Men's Soccer next year. The Aztecs are in the Pac-12 and are currently ranked 13th in the nation for D1 NCAA Men's Soccer. Santos will be the first Big Island soccer player to attend a Pac-12 collegiate soccer program.
Matthew Castro 99B, D - recently traveled to San Diego to tryout for the SD Surf DA 99B team. He made the team, and will move to San Diego to live and develop there for his Junior and Senior years of HS.
Maia Mills 02G, GK - recently called in during KCSA 2016 Summer Seattle trip to train with the Seattle Reign 02G ECNL team. Seattle Reign ECNL team is the youth developmental rosters to their professional Women's side, where Hope Solo and Megan Rapinoe are signed on contract to play.
Hannah Shimizu 98G, D - graduated Makua Lani '16, and was recruited into the University of Redlands Women's team. Hannah is attending Redlands on a full academic scholarship!!
Aiden Alcos 97B, F - After a great Spring Season in 2016, Aiden was selected to the Azusa Pacific Men's Team for the Fall 2016 season. Another KCSA player competing in college!
Akari Shimizu 00G, MF - Akari is on the ODP Region IV Travel Team. Akari recently went to Costa Rica with the team to compete, and attended the Florida Inter-regional Championships where all 4 ODP Regional teams meet to compete and get scouted by US National scouts. Akari also is rostered on the Honolulu Bulls 99G travel team, where her teammates consist of 3 current US National Team players.
Halle Mae Nottage 00G, F - KCSA developmental POY and recently made the ODP Region IV 00G pool. Is listed as an alternate for the Region IV 00G ODP Regional team.
Katrina Whalen 00G, MF - Katrina recently attended Liberty University Women's Soccer ID Camp and was given great feedback. KCSA will help Katrina continue to work towards Liberty University, DI program, conference champions.
Braden Kojima 98B, D/MF - Currently in good standing to play for Pacific University Men's Soccer team (OR) next year, as it's his primary collegiate choice academically, and the coach is in communication with KCSA DOC.
Jon Takahashi 99B, D - looking to attend UH Hilo next year and play for the Vulcans program. Will be KCSA's first player to stay home and compete for the local Big Island Collegiate program. KCSA is very excited for Jon!
Austin Schneider 99B, F/MF - currently being recruited by San Jose State University and saw interest from UC Davis after a fruitful summer of College ID Camp travel. Both coaches are in communication with the KCSA DOC.
Emalia Higgins 01G, F - This summer traveled to compete with NSA Premier (Chicago) in the US Club Regional Tournament. Helped the team reach the finals where they fell 2-0 to Chicago Sockers ECNL team. From there Emi went to Washington State University ID Camp and was given great feedback. KCSA will help Emi continue towards Wash State U, DI Pac-12.
Nalani Wall 00G, F - Summer 2016 traveled with Emalia to compete with NSA Premier (Chicago) as well. Nalani started games and scored goals, displaying her abilities to the mainland for the first time. More expected to come from this girl! Shout out to sister Nanea Wall 01G who competed in the SD Surf Cup this summer, the most competitive and hyped-up youth soccer tourney in the nation.
Bella Police 02G, MF/F - Summer 2016 was scouted and is being recruited by Shattuck St Mary's 02G DA team. KCSA and the Police family will look into sending her there for training to scope out the option for her.
Kalei Perry-Tolentino 99B, MF - One of our East side members, Kalei is mentally committed to attending Humboldt State University due to a well known wildlife conservation program. He is actively being recruited by HSU Men's Soccer, coaches are in communication with KCSA DOC.

2016 DELTA NIKE CROSSFIRE CHALLENGE
The Kona Crush Soccer Academy took three groups of youth players on a soccer and culture trip to Seattle. The groups all had a chance to experience professional soccer camps and play in the Delta Nike Crossfire Challenge.
The two boys groups trained with MLS organization, the Seattle Sounders, and the girls had a personal training camp with Women’s Professional Organization team, the Seattle Reign FC. All three groups also had the chance to watch games by both professional teams.
Besides soccer, the players were able to experience the city and visited several cultural sites and attractions, including various museums, as well as the aquarium and the Space Needle.
The trip was highlighted by the youngest boys team winning the Crossfire Challenge U13 division. The Kona Crush U13 team went undefeated through the tourney and won the final match 2-1 in overtime.
